The word Durana comes from joining together the cities of Durres and Tirana, ideally wanting to circumscribe a territory, which starts from the capital and widens its borders to include the surrounding areas.

Tirana, like Albania, is in continuous development, although it is evidently still connected to its history and roots. Unconditional urban development, combined with an italian quietness and balkan irony, shape the landscape of this hypothetical city that extends from the hills to the sea, to keep together a still growing nation.
